I flew out the front door and into the heavy rainfall. I ran as fast as my feet would take me. My feet started to burn from the wet cement, which I was running on. The thunder roared above my head. Tears streamed down my cheeks as well as the rain. I hopped over fences and bushes. I ran into the main street, where there were no cars. It was so desolate. My feet started to slow down and I could feel my body start to shake. I soon came to a complete and utter stop. I stood in the middle of the street. Breathing heavily and shaking hard, I fell to my knees. I wish I had never felt such pain that I had felt at that very moment in time. Every part of my body hurt and ached and was in agony. I let out a painful cry. I thought everything was getting better. I thought maybe, just maybe, everything would be okay in the end and now this?
